These Terms of Use govern the access and use of the website www.dpd.fr and are intended to define the terms and conditions of use of the Site.


In these Terms of Use, the words or phrases beginning with a capital letter have the following meaning:

'Terms of Use' or 'ToU': these terms of use for the website www.dpd.fr.

'Specific Conditions': the terms of use, the terms of sale or any other contractual document specifically applicable to each of the Services available from the Site.

'Cookies': a text file stored by the user's browser in a dedicated area of the hard disk of their device when browsing a website. It allows the issuer to identify the device on which it is saved, during its period of validity and to save certain information about its route, above all to simplify user navigation on websites or to suggest content that is tailored to the User's interests.

'DPD France SAS': the company DPD France, a French société par actions simplifiée (simplified joint stock company) with share capital of €18.5 million. Whose registered office is located at 9 rue Maurice MALLET 92130 ISSY LES MOULINEAUX, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 444 420 830.

'Personal Data': the data that pertains to the User, and allows DPD France SAS to identify the User as a Service User.

'Services': all DPD and Third Party Services provided to Users, accessible through the Site, in their current and future versions and regardless of any changes to which they may be subject.

'DPD Services': all DPD Services provided to Users, accessible through the Site, in their current and future versions and regardless of any changes to which they may be subject.

'Third Party Service(s)': any service offered through the Site by a partner under contract with DPD France SAS, in its current and future versions and regardless of changes, and that may be subject to the Specific Conditions of this partner.

'Site': the dpd.fr website accessible via the URL www.dpd.fr or any URL that may be substituted therefore.

'Device(s)': the equipment (computer, phone, etc.) used by the User to access and/or use the Services.

'User': any natural or legal person who visits one or more pages of the Site.



3.1 Access to and use of the Site is subject to acceptance and compliance with these Terms of Use.
By browsing the Site, regardless of the technical means of access and device(s) used, the User is deemed to be aware of these ToU and to accept the terms of the same without reservation.
These ToU apply, as appropriate, to any variation or extension of the Site on existing or future social networks or communities.

3.2 The ToU may be modified at any time by DPD France SAS by reason of the evolving nature of the Site and Services, which are subject to change, including through the provision of new features, or the removal or modification of some features. The User is therefore advised to refer to the latest version of the ToU prior to browsing, available at all times on the Site. In case of disagreement with the ToU, the User should make no further use of the Site.

4.1 The Site is freely accessible to any User with access to the internet.
All costs related to the access of the Site, whether the costs of hardware, software or Internet access are the sole responsibility of the User.

4.2 Some Services (free or paid), require the completion of a registration form. The User therefore agrees to provide, maintain and regularly update accurate, complete and current information. By failure to do so, the User's registration will be invalidated and DPD France SAS reserves the right to take any measure it deems necessary to suspend access to the relevant Service(s), on a permanent or temporary basis.

4.3 Prior to the confirmation of registration for one or more Service (s), the User must carefully read the ToU and, where appropriate, the Specific Conditions that apply to the service(s) they intend to use.
The User undertakes to hold the Company harmless against any illegal, improper and/or unauthorised use of information accessible via this Site.



The overall structure, texts, animated or static images and all elements contained on the Site are the exclusive property of DPD France SAS and its partners, and are protected by French and international legislation on copyright and intellectual property.
Any use whatsoever of the brand names and logos of the Site including, but not limited to trademarks and trade names held by DPD France SAS and/or its partners is prohibited without the prior permission of the copyright holders. Any reproduction by any means whatsoever, of all or part of the Site or any part thereof in whole or in part without the express consent of DPD France SAS or its partners is strictly prohibited.
The User may not add data to the Site that will or is likely to change the contents or appearance of the data, the presentation or organisation of the Site or works displayed on the Site, by any means whatsoever.
Any breach of these provisions shall be subject to criminal and civil penalties according to French law.


All sites containing a hyperlink to the Site (a hyperlink to the Site or from it) are not under the control of DPD France SAS, which assumes no responsibility for their contents.
Users are solely responsible for their use.
DPD France SAS reserves the right to remove a hyperlink to the Site at any time if it deems it inconsistent with its editorial policy.





7.1 Use of Cookies by DPD France SAS

DPD France SAS uses Cookies to provide the user with an optimal user experience, tailored to their personal preferences. By using Cookies, DPD France SAS negates the need for the User to re-enter the same information every time they visit its Site. Cookies are also used to optimise the performance of our Site, mobile sites and mobile applications where applicable.     7.3 Lifetime of Cookies

    Targeted advertising and web reach Cookies saved directly or indirectly by DPD France SAS have a lifetime of 13 months. The consent of the User will be requested again at the end of this period by displaying the information banner.

    The User is aware of and expressly consents to the processing of data, including personal data, pertaining to them, for the purposes and under the conditions specified in this article.

    8.1 Nature of Personal Data collected

    DPD France SAS collects Personal Data provided by the User, such as for example: name, date of birth, postal and/or e-mail address and telephone number.

    8.2 Methods of collection of Personal Data

    The compulsory or optional nature of the answers is indicated in our forms for collection of Personal Data.
    DPD France SAS collects Personal Data directly from the User during registration for the Service, and/or indirectly from external partners, having obtained, where necessary, the User's authorisation to sell, lease or exchange them for the purposes set out in article 8.3 below.
    The User therefore declares that the information they have provided is accurate, complete, current, and undertakes to amend, correct and update the information if necessary.

    8.3 Purposes of the processing of Personal Data

    Personal Data undergoes data processing by DPD France SAS, for the purposes of service performance, the management of our customer relations and the sending of personalised offers.

    8.4 Recipients of Personal Data

    The Personal Data provided by the User directly and/or indirectly via their Device, for example, as part of the provision of the Service is communicated to the following recipients:

    • DPD France SAS
    • The technical service providers of DPD France SAS or entities acting on its behalf for the operation of the Service
    • The partners of DPD France SAS when the User has agreed to receive promotional offers from them
    • Public bodies, court officers, judicial officers or ministerial officers to comply with any law or regulation, or to respond to any lawfully authorised request for access to personal data.

    DPD France SAS undertakes to maintain a sufficient level of protection, particularly if the Personal Data is transferred, for example, to subcontractors based outside of the European Union, in accordance with the provisions of the modified French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978.

    8.5 Lifetime for storage of Personal Data

    Personal Data is kept for a maximum of five (5) years and will be removed within thirty (30) days of your cancellation request, in accordance with article 8.7 below.

    8.6. Security and privacy of Personal Data

    DPD France SAS undertakes to take all measures it considers necessary and appropriate in view of the nature of the data to ensure the security and confidentiality of Personal Data and, in particular, to prevent it from being altered, damaged or accessed by unauthorised parties.

    8.7 Data protection rights

    According to law 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to data, files and liberties, as amended by the Act of 6 August 2004, the User has the right to access, correct and/or delete Personal Data pertaining to them.
    These rights may be exercised by sending a recorded delivery letter with acknowledgement of receipt, addressed to the Legal Department at the registered office of DPD France SAS, as stated in the Legal Notice available on the Site.

    9.1 User liability

    All hardware and software needed for access to and use of the Site or the Services are the sole responsibility of the User, who is therefore solely responsible for the proper functioning of his or her equipment and Internet access.
    It is their responsibility to take all appropriate measures to protect their own data, computer systems and/or software from infection by viruses.
    The User is solely liable for their use of the Site and/or Services.
    The use of any data accessed via the User's email address is deemed to have been performed by said User.

    9.2 Liability of DPD France SAS

    DPD France SAS implements all reasonable means at its disposal to ensure quality access to the Site and/or Services.
    The Site is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, except in cases of force majeure or the occurrence of an event beyond the control of DPD France SAS, and subject to possible outages and maintenance operations necessary for the proper functioning of the Site.
    DPD France SAS may not be held liable for any network and/or server malfunction or any other event beyond its control, which may prevent or degrade access to the Site and/or Services.
    DPD France SAS reserves the right to terminate, suspend or modify without prior notice access to all or part of the Site and/or Services, for maintenance purposes or otherwise, without giving rise to any obligation or compensation.
    DPD France SAS in no way guarantees the accuracy or completeness of information offered by the linked sites.



    All trade relations whatsoever, that the User may enter into in connection with the use of the Services, with the partners of DPD France SAS or advertisers on the Services, are made directly with partners or advertisers without DPD France being a party to the relationship. DPD France SAS may not therefore be held liable for any injury caused to the User as a result of their relationship with the partners of DPD France SAS or advertisers.

    The Terms of Use are governed by French Law.
